Scott is fascinated by healthcare models that improve patient access, value and outcomes. Scott’s passion for healthcare was inspired by his mother’s 40-year nursing career. Scott saw the difficulties of delivering adequate healthcare and the frustration for caregivers. Drawing on his operating and investment experience, Scott sees real paths to improving patient access, value and outcomes while improving the care experience for caregivers and patients. For Scott, the TCAP team’s focus on healthcare and its diversity of professional experiences are critical ingredients to help our partner companies make an impact at scale and do good for society while also building successful enterprises.

Scott focuses on making an impact outside of the office through volunteer work at Family Table, a program focused on ending hunger in the local community and as an active alumni leader in the UVA community. He prides himself on being the reigning TCAP pickleball champion.
